lla J is returning to Europe to promote his upcoming new solo album “No Traffic”. You can expect an interesting soul/rap performance and an amazing show. Singer/producer/songwriter/rapper John “Illa J” Yancey is a true music prodigy, raised in a family surrounded by music and heavily influenced by his father, a jazz bassist, and his mother, a talented singer. Best known for being the younger brother of the late hip-hop legend J Dilla, Illa J is a former member of the iconic Detroit hip-hop group Slum Village. Once again, Illa J teams up with rising UK soul star Harleighblu in their latest single, “Not Ever.” This track is the lead single from Illa J’s highly-anticipated album, “No Traffic,” and is already making waves in the music industry. On his second single of the upcoming album, Illa J is joined by Detroit legend Amp Fiddler on the hook. The album, set to be released on the iconic label BBE Music, is a milestone for Illa J as it is his first album where all tracks are entirely produced, written, and performed by himself. Featuring Detroit legends Amp Fiddler, Frank n Dank, British soul sensation Harleighblu, and many more, you can expect a masterpiece that only Illa J can deliver.

Kokonelle ist Sängerin, Rapperin und Songwriterin mit kongolesischen Wurzeln (Kinshasa). Sie singt schon ihr ganzes Leben und steht seit ihrer Jugendzeit auf der Bühne. Ihr Style ist komplex, genauso wie Ihre Texte: Hip-Hop, RnB, Afro und Soul gemischt mit Englisch, Lingala, Französisch und Deutsch.
